Course Overview

This program provides students with a thorough understanding of the human body and how it functions at a cellular, molecular and organ system level. Students will also develop an understanding of the causes and effects of disease and learn about the diagnostic techniques and treatment options available.

The course covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, immunology, pharmacology and molecular biology. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students will also gain practical experience through laboratory work and clinical placements.

Entry Requirements

112 UCAS tariff points (or above)

BBC (A-Level), DMM (BTEC).

A science related subject is preferred at grade C or above (or equivalent) and must include Biology or a related subject.

Applicants must also have a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English, Math’s and Science. Applicants who do not hold these qualifications may be considered on an individual basis based upon their overall application and the course applied for.

IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the students’ first language.
