BSc (Hons) Computing (Web and Mobile Development)
Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) Computing (Web and Mobile Development) is a four-year undergraduate program that is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop web and mobile applications. Throughout the program, students will develop their understanding of computer systems, software development, and computer networks, and gain experience in developing applications for a range of platforms.
The program is structured to include a foundation year, which provides students with a solid grounding in the fundamental concepts of computing, and an introduction to web and mobile development. The following three years are focused on more advanced topics, such as programming, database systems, and software engineering.
Students will have access to industry-standard software and hardware, as well as to experienced lecturers who will support their learning throughout the program. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to engage in group projects, which will enable them to apply their skills and knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Entry Requirements
96Â UCAS tariff points (or above), CCC (A-Level), MMM (BTEC).
Applicants are also required to have GCSE Math’s grade 4/C or above, or equivalent Level 2 qualification. Applicants who do not hold these qualifications may be considered on an individual basis based upon their overall application and the course applied for.
IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the students’ first language.
